Restanten van de voormalige omwalling van 1595-1598, gewijzigd in 1848, omgevormd tot plantsoenen naar ontwerp van Zocher.
Het betreft de bolwerken vanaf het begin van de Veerseweg aan de oostelijke zijde der stad tot aan de Winterstraat aan de zuidwestzijde, in totaal omvattend negen voormalige bastions met de voor de aardwerken liggende vest.

Description
Remains of the former fortifications of 1595-1598, modified in 1848, transformed into public gardens according to a design by Zocher.
This concerns the bastions from the beginning of the Veerseweg on the eastern side of the town to the Winterstraat on the southwestern side, comprising in total nine former bastions with the ravelins lying in front of the earthworks.
