Omschrijving
Herv. KERK op kerkhof. Rechtgesloten eenbeukig bakstenen kerkgebouw met in het uitwendige de kenmerken van de 13e eeuwse Groninger Romano-gotiek; rondbogig gesloten nissen met vlechtwerk ter weerszijden van de (later vergrote) vensters en klimmende nissen in de oostelijke topgevel. Westgevel nieuw. In de kerk eind 18e- vroeg 19e eeuws meubilair: Preekstoel met achterschot en klankbord, avondmaalstafel, twee banken met spijltjes, friezen en vaasvormige knoppen; eenvoudige banken. Twee 17e eeuwse zerken. In de dakruiter klok uit 1777. Eenklaviersorgel in 1870 gemaakt door P. van Oeckelen.

Description
Reformed CHURCH on churchyard. Rectangular-closed single-aisle brick church building with, externally, the characteristics of 13th-century Groningen Romanesque-Gothic; round-arched closed niches with lattice-work on either side of the (later enlarged) windows and climbing niches in the eastern gable. West gable new. In the church late 18th- early 19th-century furnishings: Pulpit with backboard and sounding board, communion table, two benches with spindles, friezes and vase-shaped knobs; simple benches. Two 17th-century gravestones. In the bell-turret a bell from 1777. Single-manual organ made in 1870 by P. van Oeckelen.
