Omschrijving
Voormalige Dominicanenkerk en klooster. Kerk met basilicaal schip en veelhoekig gesloten koor, gewijd in 1294; de westelijke traveeën van het schip wat later; de O.L. Vrouwekapel aan de zuidzijde 15e eeuws met 17e eeuwse sluiting. Noordvleugel van het klooster, XVI A, lange gevel met ankers 1663 en in- en uitgezwenkte voorgevel 1660. Op het achterterrein overblijfsels van de eerste ommuring van na 1229, bestaande uit kolenzandsteen (mon.nr.26975).

Description
Former Dominican church and cloister. Church with basilical nave and many-sided closed choir, consecrated in 1294; the western bays of the nave somewhat later; the Our Lady chapel on the south side 15th century with 17th century closure. North wing of the cloister, first half of the 16th century, long facade with anchors 1663 and offset front facade 1660. On the rear grounds remains of the first fortification wall from after 1229, consisting of glauconitic sandstone (monument no. 26975).
