Omschrijving
GEMEENLANDSHUIS van Delfland. Rechthoekig bakstenen bouwwerk, 1626, gedekt door een hoog, dwars schilddak met dakkapellen en bekronende schoorsteen met smeedijzeren bekroning. Vensters met natuurstenen kruiskozijnen, geblokte ontlastingsbogen met sluitstenen en luiken. In de voorgevel geprofileerde imposten tussen de vensters en een rijk gedetailleerd poortje met zijvoluten, engelenkopjes in de zwikken en gebroken fronton, waarin wapens. Jaartal in de kroonlijst van het poortje. In voor- en achtergevel sierankers. Tegen het midden van de achtergevel een veelhoekige traptoren. Inwendig in de Hoogheemraadskamer een schouw uit de bouwtijd en gebeeldhouwde balkconsoles. Eiken spiltrap.

Description
COMMONS HOUSE of Delfland. Rectangular brick building, 1626, covered by a high, transverse hipped roof with roof dormers and crowing chimney with wrought-iron crown. Windows with natural stone cross windows, blocked relieving arches with keystones and shutters. In the front gable profiled imposts between the windows and a richly detailed door with side volutes, cherub heads in the squinches and broken pediment, containing coats of arms. Date in the cornice of the doorway. In front and rear gable ornamental wall anchors. Against the centre of the rear gable a polygonal staircase tower. Internally in the Hoogheemraadskamer a fireplace from the building period and carved beam consoles. Oak spiral stair.
