Markant aan de brug over de Zijlroede gelegen fors pand onder zadeldak tussen topgevels.
In de gevels hijsluiken en lichtkozijnen.
Aan de voorgevel beneden zesruitsvensters, in de top hijsbalk.
Achtergevel bekroond door de aanzetkrullen van de top die blijkens stenen aan de voet van de top in 1763 is opgetrokken.
De ver(mis)plaatsing van de aanzetkrullen zal in 1839 plaats gevonden hebben, toen blijkens een gevelsteen de top vernieuwd is.
Aan de stadszijde aanbouw onder een doortrekking van het zadeldak, met door roeden verdeelde ramen.

Description
Striking building located at the bridge over the Zijlroede under gabled roof between pointed gables.
In the facades hoisting windows and light windows.
On the front facade below six-pane windows, at the top hoisting beam.
Rear facade crowned by the spring curls of the gable which according to stones at the foot of the gable was erected in 1763.
The displacement of the spring curls will have taken place in 1839, when according to a facade stone the gable was renewed.
