1. PAND met brede tuitgevel, midden 17e eeuw. Stedenbouwkundig is het pand met winkelpui van betekenis als onderdeel in de gevelwand aan de Nieuwe Rijn.
2. Inleiding
De WINKELPUI in de bouwstijl van de Neo-Renaissance bevindt zich onderin het pand. De pui uit het eind van de negentiende eeuw is gaaf. Het pand staat in een gevelwand aan de noordoostkant van de Nieuwe Rijn, in het beschermd stadsgezicht.
Omschrijving
De pui is in hout opgetrokken boven een hardstenen basement met casementen in basreliëf. De pui telt vier vensterassen. In de tweede vensteras van links bevindt zich de dubbele glasdeur met bovenlicht in een portiek. Eierlijsten in de lijst van de deur, cassettes in het houten kozijn. De drie etalagevensters en de portiek zijn afgesloten door een segmentboog met palmetten op de plaats van de sluitsteen. Houten pilasters met spaarvelden, rozetten en bladkapitelen tussen de vensterassen. Consoles tussen de pilasters en de kroonlijst die de pui aan de bovenkant afsluit. De kroonlijst en het hardstenen basement risaleren op de hoogte van de pilasters.
Waardering
De winkelpui is van algemeen architectuurhistorisch belang vanwege de Neo-Renaissancistische bouwstijl.

The SHOP FRONTAGE in the Neo-Renaissance building style is located at the bottom of the building. The frontage dating from the end of the nineteenth century is intact. The building stands in a facade wall on the north-east side of the Nieuwe Rijn, in the protected townscape.
Description
The frontage is constructed in wood above a hard stone basement with casements in bas-relief. The frontage has four window bays. In the second window bay from the left is the double glazed door with fanlight in a portico. Egg mouldings in the frame of the door, cassettes in the wooden frame. The three display windows and the portico are closed by a segmental arch with palmettes at the position of the keystone. Wooden pilasters with spandrels, rosettes and acanthus capitals between the window bays. Consoles between the pilasters and the cornice which closes off the frontage at the top. The cornice and the hard stone basement project at the height of the pilasters.
Valuation
The shop frontage is of general architectural-historical significance due to the Neo-Renaissance building style.
