Omschrijving
Heilige Geest- of Armen wees- en kinderhuis. Twee trapgevels en bergstenen poort (nr 17), gedekt door driehoekig fronton. Nr 19 afzonderlijk poortje z.g. Kerkvleugel. Anno 1656, achtervleugel 1774 loopt tot Oude Rijn, zie nr 33e aldaar. 1583 weeshuis overgebracht naar v.m. Vrouwengasthuis. 1604-7 verbouwd. Bouw achtervleugel 1773/4, gerestaureerd 1882. Poort 1607. Nr 19 is een latere uitbreiding van 1630.

Description
Holy Ghost or Poor orphans and children's house. Two stepped gables and ashlar gatehouse (no. 17), covered by triangular pediment. No. 19 separate little gatehouse so-called Church wing. Anno 1656, rear wing 1774 runs to Oude Rijn, see no. 33e there. 1583 orphanage transferred to former Women's hospital. 1604-7 rebuilt. Construction of rear wing 1773/4, restored 1882. Gatehouse 1607. No. 19 is a later extension of 1630.
