Stadhuis en Hoofdwacht
Stadhuis, in 1713 op oudere grondvesten opgetrokken blokvormig gebouw bekroond met klokkenkoepeltje en tegen de achtergevel gebouwde raadszaal (1760) en in de L-vorm pleintje en afsluitend hekwerk. De raadszaal door J.Noteboom met interieur naar P. de Swart. In het Stadhuis stucwerk in vestibule 1724.Mooi gesneden trapbalustrade. Trouwzaal en stoep met trap vernieuwd door Th.Romein 1845. In burgemeesterskamer wandtapijten door A.Baert 1718. In de klokkenkoepel carillon uit de voormalige Nieuwe Toren bestaande uit 31 klokken gegoten door C.Fremy 1686, één door J.ter Steghe 1544, één door H.Falck van Neurenberg 1644 en één door P.Overney 1689.
Hoofdwacht, gepleisterd, U-vormig gebouw in 1845 naar plannen van Th.Romein herbouwd.

Town Hall and Main Guard House
Town Hall, erected in 1713 on older foundations, blocky building crowned with clock cupola and against the rear facade built council chamber (1760) and in the L-shaped small square and enclosing fencing. The council chamber by J. Noteboom with interior after P. de Swart. In the Town Hall stuccowork in vestibule 1724. Fine carved stair balustrade. Wedding hall and stoep with stairs renewed by Th. Romein 1845. In burgemeester's chamber wall tapestries by A. Baert 1718. In the clock cupola carillon from the former New Tower consisting of 31 bells cast by C. Fremy 1686, one by J. ter Steghe 1544, one by H. Falck of Nuremberg 1644 and one by P. Overney 1689.
