Omschrijving
Grote of Jacobijnekerk. Vrml. Dominicanenklooster kerk, gesticht 13e eeuw herbouwd in de 15e eeuw. In de kerk preekstoel met klankbord en achterschot, XVII.
Kraak met gesneden onderdelen, 1695 banken met snijwerk, XVII; tombe voor J.H.Nieuwoldt, plm 1812 door P.J. Gabriel.
In het koor grafkelder der Oranjes; gedenkplaat aan Vrede van Munster 1648 afkomstig uit Landschapshuis. Grafzerken. In de kerk staan drie orgels: A. Orgel met Hoofdwerk, Rugwerk, Bovenwerk en vrij Pedaal, in 1727 gemaakt door Chr. Muller en in 1885 ingrijpend verbouwd door L. van Dam en Zonen. Bij de laatste restauratie van 1978 is de dispositie van Muller hersteld en zijn de mechanische aanleg en windladen van Van Dam gehandhaafd. B. In het koor een eenklaviers orgel met een binnenwerk van F.C. Smits uit 1850. C. In de zuiderkapel een positief van Joh. Meister uit 1766.

Great or Jacobean Church. Formerly Dominican monastery church, founded 13th century rebuilt in the 15th century. In the church pulpit with tester and backboard, 17th century.
Rood screen with carved components, 1695 benches with carved work, 17th century; tomb for J.H. Nieuwoldt, circa 1812 by P.J. Gabriel.
In the choir burial vault of the Princes of Orange; commemorative plaque for Peace of Munster 1648 from the Landschapshuis. Grave slabs. In the church stand three organs: A. Organ with Great, Positive, Upper, and separate Pedal, made in 1727 by Chr. Muller and substantially rebuilt in 1885 by L. van Dam and Sons. At the last restoration in 1978 the Muller disposition was restored and the mechanical action and wind chests of Van Dam retained. B. In the choir a single-manual organ with an internal work by F.C. Smits from 1850. C. In the south chapel a positive by Joh. Meister from 1766.
