Omschrijving
Westerkerk. Begin 16e eeuwse Bagijnenkerk, oorspronkelijk eenbeukig, in 1684 met een even hoge beuk vergroot en in 1845-'46 o.l.v. stadsarchitect Th. Romein, inwendig gewijzigd.
Langs zuidelijke wand mooie betimmering en galerij met gesneden friezen en panelen gedateerd 1690; bijbehorende preekstoel. Orgel met Hoofdwerk, Bovenwerk en vrij Pedaal, in 1847 gemaakt door L. van Dam en Zonen.

Westerkerk. Early 16th century Beguinage Church, originally single-aisle, enlarged in 1684 with an equally high aisle and in 1845-'46 under city architect Th. Romein, internally altered.
Along the southern wall fine panelling and gallery with carved friezes and panels dated 1690; associated pulpit. Organ with Great, Choir and free Pedal, made in 1847 by L. van Dam en Zonen.
