Omschrijving
Kasteel Strijthagen. Herenhuis bestaande uit een hoofdvleugel XVII-XVIII, van baksteen, ten dele met speklagen onder een mansardedak, en haaks hiertegenaan een lagere, eveneens door een mansardedak afgedekte vleugel, XVIII. De voorgevel van deze lagere vleugel heeft een middenpartij, bekroond door een gebogen fronton; vensters in omlijstingen van Naamse steen met samengestelde sluitstenen en oreillons. Inwendig o.a. marmeren schoorsteenmantels en een eiken trap met smeedijzeren leuning in Lodewijk XVI-STIJL.

Description
Castle Strijthagen. Manor house consisting of a main wing 17th-18th century, of brick, partly with marl courses under a mansard roof, and at right angles to it a lower wing, likewise covered by a mansard roof, 18th century. The front facade of this lower wing has a central section, crowned by a curved pediment; windows in Namur stone frames with composite voussoirs and ears. Internally among others marble chimney surrounds and an oak staircase with wrought-iron balustrade in Louis XVI style.
