Groot Poelgeest. Van het slot Groot-Poelgeest, laatstelijk herbouwd in 1606 en gesloopt voor 1746, zijn bewaard gebleven: het kasteelterrein met omgrachting; een veelhoekig, bakstenen torentje met pannen tentdak en natuurstenen, gecanneleerde zuil op sokkel, afkomstig van de v.m. ingangsomlijsting van het slot.

Description
Groot Poelgeest. From the castle Groot-Poelgeest, last rebuilt in 1606 and demolished before 1746, there remain preserved: the castle grounds with moat; a polygonal brick tower with tiled pavilion roof and natural stone fluted column on socle, originating from the former entrance surround of the castle.
