Burcht Kessel, gelegen op een kunstmatige hoogte. Mergelstenen weermuur in ovale vorm met uitbochtingen, XII; rechthoekige n.o. uitbouw, XVI; vierkante poorttoren aan de z.o. zijde, XVI. Onder de burcht resten van een woontoren, circa 1000. Bedrijfsgebouwen, XVIII-XIX. Omtrek muur van het voorterrein met hekpijlers en vierkant torentje.

Description
Kessel Castle, situated on an artificial elevation. Marl stone fortification wall in oval form with bulges, 12th century; rectangular northeast outbuilding, 16th century; square gate tower on the southeast side, 16th century. Beneath the castle remains of a residential tower, circa 1000. Service buildings, 18th-19th centuries. Perimeter wall of the forecourt with gate piers and square small tower.
