Omschrijving
Gepleisterd blok van twee woningen met verdiep onder met blauwe muldenpannen gedekt zadeldak (nok evenwijdig aan de straat) en met aan de voorzijde in het midden twee insteekkapjes (zadeldaken); de voorgevels zijn verlevendigd door verhoogd, roze-rood geschilderd lijstwerk van baksteen en dito plint; getoogde vensters (in de geveltoppen aan de voorzijde halfrond gesloten) met oorspronkelijke hoofdindeling van de ramen; rechtgesloten deuren met bovenlicht in de zijgevels. De woningen zijn in 1901 door de Laura & Vereeniging gebouwd ten behoeve van beambten van de mijn "Laura" en vormen door de eenheid in architectuur, gelijk kleur- en materiaalgebruik tesamen met Laurastraat 52 t/m 58 en 64 t/m 74 als reeks een gaaf voorbeeld van de woningbouw voor mijnbeambten.

Description
Rendered block of two dwellings with storey under gabled roof (ridge parallel to the street) covered with blue pantiles and with on the front in the middle two small mansard inserts (gabled roofs); the front facades are enlivened by raised, pink-red painted brick moulding and the same plinth; arched windows (in the gable tops on the front semi-circular closed) with original main division of the frames; straight-closed doors with fanlight in the side facades. The dwellings were built in 1901 by the Laura & Vereeniging for the benefit of officials of the "Laura" mine and form together with Laurastraat 52 to 58 and 64 to 74 through unity of architecture, as well as colour and material use as a series a fine example of miners' officials' housing.
