Omschrijving
Herv. Kerk met toren en 19e eeuws houten poortvormig hek. De kerk bestaat uit een 13e eeuws bakstenen schip bij een vroeg 12e eeuws koor uit tufsteen opgetrokken.
Koor en schip zijn beide versierd met spaarvelden en boogfriezen.
15e eeuwse zware toren. Aan de zuidzijde van de kerkmuur zonnewijzer, 1642.
In de kerk onderdelen van een 17e eeuwse preekstoelkuip; deels 18e eeuwse orgelkas; lambrizering; aan de westzijde galerij, met banken eronder, deels 1656. Vier overhuifde banken, 17e eeuw. Tien kerkbanken met gesneden wangstukken. Drie koperen kronen. Tekstbord 1654. Gebeeldhouwde eiken preekstoel met gewrongen Corinthische zuilen op de hoek van de kuip en bijbehorend klankbord, daterend uit het laatste kwart van de 17e eeuw en afkomstig uit de in 1985 afgebroken hervormde kerk, de Leyen 20 te Gorredijk. Tweeklaviers orgel gemaakt door L. van Dam en Zonen in 1853. In de dakruiter een klok van J. Balthasar, 1653, diam. 56,9 cm. Mechanisch torenuurwerk Gebr. van Bergen, Midwolda, eerste kwart 20e eeuw. In de zuidmuur een stenen zuidwijzer, datering op wijzerplaat: 1642.

Description
Reformed Church with tower and 19th-century wooden gate-shaped fence. The church consists of a 13th-century brick nave adjoining an early 12th-century choir built of tufa stone.
Both choir and nave are decorated with sparing fields and arch friezes.
15th-century heavy tower. On the south side of the church wall sundial, 1642.
In the church components of a 17th-century pulpit bowl; partly 18th-century organ case; wainscoting; on the west side gallery, with benches beneath it, partly 1656. Four canopied benches, 17th century. Ten church benches with carved wing pieces. Three brass crowns. Scripture board 1654. Carved oak pulpit with twisted Corinthian columns at the corner of the bowl and corresponding sounding board, dating from the last quarter of the 17th century and coming from the reformed church demolished in 1985, the Leyen 20 in Gorredijk. Two-manual organ made by L. van Dam and Sons in 1853. In the roof turret a bell by J. Balthasar, 1653, diam. 56.9 cm. Mechanical tower clockwork Gebr. van Bergen, Midwolda, first quarter 20th century. In the south wall a stone sundial, dating on dial face: 1642.
