Omschrijving
De "Schouwmolen": in oorsprong uit omstreeks 1630 daterende, niet meer als zodanig in gebruik zijnde (stuwrechten afgekocht) onderslagmolen op de Itterschebeek, waarvan de fraaie en oude houten maalstoel met twee koppels stenen nog volledig intact is. Het gebouwencomplex bestaat uit:
- een in schoon metselwerk opgetrokken molengebouw (thans opslag- en expositieruimte) met lage verdieping onder met rode Hollandse pannen gedekt zadeldak; jaartalsteen 1830; in het metselwerk restanten van een ouder, kleiner gebouw; getoogde 4-ruits vensters
- een witgeverfde, weinig opmerkelijke schuur (thans atelier) onder met rode Hollandse pannen en Tuiles-du-Nord gedekt zadeldak
- een (witgeverfd) woonhuis met verdiep onder met rode Tuiles-du-Nord gedekt zadeldak tussen topgevels met vlechtingen; getoogde T-vensters; jaartalsteen 1822.
In de beek nog aanwezig de keermuren en de scheiding tussen de maal- en losgoot; waterrad met uitzondering van de spil verdwenen.
Goed voorbeeld van een voormalig watermolencomplex met zeer fraai, houten maal- en drijfwerk.

Description
The "Check Mill": originally dating from c. 1630, no longer in use as such (weir rights redeemed) undershot mill on the Itterschebeek, of which the fine and old wooden millstone with two pairs of stones is still completely intact. The complex of buildings consists of:
- a mill building constructed in quality brickwork (now storage and exhibition space) with low storey under with red Dutch tiles gabled roof; date stone 1830; in the brickwork remains of an older, smaller building; arched 4-pane windows
- a whitewashed, unremarkable barn (now studio) under with red Dutch tiles and Tuiles-du-Nord gabled roof
- a (whitewashed) dwelling house with storey under with red Tuiles-du-Nord gabled roof between stepped gables with brickwork; arched T-windows; date stone 1822.
In the stream still present the wing dams and the division between the mill and waste chute; water wheel except for the shaft disappeared.
Good example of a former water mill complex with very fine wooden mill and drive machinery.
