Omschrijving
De "Armenmolen"; in oorsprong uit 1686 daterende, niet meer als zodanig ingebruik zijnde ONDERSLAGMOLEN op de Itterschebeek. Witgeverfd, in baksteen opgetrokken, rechthoekig gebouw zonder verdieping onder met rode Hollandse pannen gedekt, L-vormig omlopend zadeldak tegen puntgevels met vlechtingen; tegen de beide korte zijden een aanbouw onder lessenaarsdak; rechtgesloten vensters met 4-, 6- en 7-ruits ramen; jaartalankers 1686 en staafankers; aan de zijde van het water, basis van topgevel opgetrokken in blokken mergel. Molenfunctie nog duidelijk herkenbaar aan de aanwezigheid van het uit 1935 daterende ijzeren onderslagrad, de scheidingsmuur tussen de malen losgoot en de aanwezige keermuren; overig molenwerk verwijderd. Goed voorbeeld van een oude, niet meer functionerende, doch zeer duidelijk alszodanig herkenbare watermolen.

Description
The "Poor Man's Mill"; originally dating from 1686, no longer in use as such, UNDERSHOT MILL on the Itterschebeek. Whitewashed, constructed in brick, rectangular building without storey under with red Dutch tiles, L-shaped gabled roof against stepped gables with brickwork; against both short sides an extension under a lean-to roof; straight-headed windows with 4-, 6- and 7-pane windows; date anchors 1686 and bar anchors; on the water side, base of stepped gable constructed in blocks of marl. Mill function still clearly recognizable from the presence of the iron undershot wheel from 1935, the dividing wall between the millstones and the existing wing dams; other mill machinery removed. Good example of an old, no longer functioning, yet very clearly recognizable as such watermills.
