Langgerekte, met oud-hollandse pannen gedekte boerderij met voorname gevel aan de Zeeweg en eenvoudige gevel aan de Beemsterboerstraat.
Aan de zijde van de Zeeweg heeft het pand een empire klokgevel, blijkens gedenksteen uit 1807. Op de hoeken staan siervazen. In het midden van de symmetrisch opgebouwde gevel de entree met snijraam in bovenlicht, het geheel omlijst door pilasters en kroonlijst. Ter weerszijden twee 9-ruits schuiframen, op de verdieping in totaal drie 6-ruits vensters en daarboven een rondboogvormig zoldervenster. De rechter zijgevel van Zeeweg 5 is gepleisterd met schijnvoegen in blokverband. De linker zijgevel heeft 9-ruits schuiframen.
Blijkens jaartalankers "1877" is het gedeelte aan de Beemsterboerlaan later aangebouwd. De gevel van dit gedeelte, met een recent in oude stijl aangebouwde portiek, heeft vlechtingen en drie 6-ruits schuiframen op de begane grond. De linker zijgevel is, als gevolg van opdeling in meerdere woningen, nogal verbouwd. Vermoedelijk oorspronkelijk zijn hier de smeedijzeren gootklossen. De rechter zijgevel is minder verbouwd en heeft overigens dezelfde 9-ruits schuiframen als het Zeeweg- gedeelte.
Boerderij die van belang is voor de landelijke karakteristiek van het dorp Huizen (ook al vanwege haar grote omvang) en die van bijzondere architectuurhistorische betekenis is vanwege de empire gevel aan de Zeeweg.

Description
Long, farmhouse covered with old Dutch tiles with impressive facade on the Zeeweg and simple facade on the Beemsterboerstraat.
On the Zeeweg side the building has an Empire bell gable, evidenced by a commemorative stone from 1807. Ornamental vases stand on the corners. In the middle of the symmetrically constructed facade the entrance with glazing bars in fanlight, the whole framed by pilasters and cornice. On either side two 9-pane sash windows, on the upper storey three 6-pane windows in total and above that an arched attic window. The right side facade of Zeeweg 5 is plastered with false joints in block bond. The left side facade has 9-pane sash windows.
According to date anchors "1877" the section on the Beemsterboerlaan was built later. The facade of this section, with a recently built entrance portico in old style, has herringbone brick and three 6-pane sash windows on the ground floor. The left side facade, as a result of division into several dwellings, has been quite altered. Presumably originally here are the wrought-iron gutter brackets.
