Omschrijving
Bisschoppelijk Paleis, als particulier woonhuis gebouwd in 1776. Rijk versierde ingangstravee en kroonlijst met consoles. Plint met cartouche-patronen als bossingen. Schuiframen met klossen en druppen onder de wisseldorpels en met waaierzwikken. Inwendig stucwerk in de gang, schoorsteenmantel van wit en zwart marmer; op de verdieping een houten schoorsteen en een plafond, alles uit de bouwtijd. Op de eerste verdieping van de achtervleugel een kleine neo-gotische kapel met vijfzijdige koorsluiting, waarin twee spitsboogramen met ijzeren tracering; in de zijgevels twee 8-ruits ramen; gevels in schoon metselwerk; dak gedekt met blauwe Hollandse pannen en leien en bekroond door smeedijzeren kruis. Rechts van het gebouw een gepleisterd klassicistisch koetshuis met kroonlijst op klossen; boven ingangsboog cartouche met een bisschoppelijk wapen.

Description
Bishop's Palace, built as a private residence in 1776. Richly decorated entrance bay and cornice with consoles. Plinth with cartouche patterns as rustication. Sash windows with blocks and drops beneath the alternating window sills and with fan corners. Interior stucco work in the corridor, fireplace mantel of white and black marble; on the storey above a wooden fireplace and ceiling, all from the time of construction. On the first storey of the rear wing a small Neo-Gothic chapel with five-sided choir closure, containing two pointed-arch windows with iron tracery; in the side gables two 8-pane windows; gables in fair-faced brickwork; roof covered with blue Dutch tiles and slates and crowned by wrought-iron cross. To the right of the building a plastered Neoclassical coach house with cornice on blocks; above the entrance arch a cartouche with a bishopric coat of arms.
