Omschrijving
Voormalig Gereformeerd Burger Weeshuis (XIXc). Acht vensterassen breed pand met verdieping onder (met asbest gedekt) schilddak. In schoon metselwerk opgetrokken voorgevel met hardstenen plint en cordonlijsten, en afgesloten door kroonlijst met consoles, tandlijst en balustrade met panelen en die is gekornist bij de twee middelste en de uiterste traveeën; risalerende partijen op begane grond gebosseerd gemetseld. Lichtgetoogde schuifvensters met 4-ruits onderraam en ongedeeld bovenlicht; in uiterste traveeen dubbele paneeldeur met bovenlicht en geprofileerde lijst met kuif rond vensters op verdieping; boven het middenrisaliet een getoogd attiek tussen pilasters, waartegen voluutvormige klauwstukken en Gereformeerd Burger Weeshuis in het middenveld.

Description
Former Reformed Burgher Orphanage (third quarter of 19th century). Eight-window-bay-wide property with storey under (asbestos-covered) hipped roof. Front elevation erected in fine brickwork with stone plinth and cordon lines, and terminated by cornice with consoles, dentil course and balustrade with panels and which is corniced at the two middle and the outermost bays; projecting sections on ground floor rusticated brickwork. Lightly arched sash windows with 4-pane lower frame and undivided fanlight; in outermost bays double panel door with fanlight and profiled moulding with crest around windows on storey; above the central projecting section an arched attic between pilasters, against which volute-shaped claw-pieces and Reformed Burgher Orphanage in the central field.
