NED.HERV.KERK. Eenbeukige, laat-gotische kerk, waarvan de muren uitwendig tussen de spitsboogvensters versierd zijn met uitgekraagde, gekoppelde boogjes, welke decoratie ontbreekt aan de driezijdige koorsluiting. De kerk is overdekt door houten tongewelven met ribben en trekbalken. Aanbouwen uit de tweede helft van de 19e eeuw tegen de westelijke schiptraveeen. Bakstenen toren, wellicht 14e eeuw, waarvan de klokkeverdieping gekoppelde galmgaten binnen geprofileerde rondboognissen en spaarvelden met hoeklisenen en rondboogfriesjes bezit. Tot de inventaris behoren: een rijk gesneden preekstoel uit 1669 met koperen lezenaar en doopbekkenhouder; een herenbank met in Lodewijk XV-vormen gesneden overhuiving. Orgel met Hoofdwerk, Bovenwerk en vrij Pedaal, in 1696 gebouwd door J. Duyschot voor de Waalse Kerk in Delft. Description
DUTCH REFORMED CHURCH. Single-aisle late-Gothic church, the external walls of which are decorated between the pointed-arch windows with projecting, coupled small arches, which decoration is absent from the three-sided choir closure. The church is covered by wooden barrel vaults with ribs and tie beams. Extensions from the second half of the 19th century against the western nave bays. Brick tower, possibly 14th century, of which the bell storey has coupled sound holes within profiled round-arch recesses and spare fields with corner lisenes and round-arch friezes. The inventory includes: a richly carved pulpit from 1669 with brass lectern and font holder; a gentlemen's pew with overhanging structure carved in Louis XV forms. Organ with Hauptwerk, Oberwerk and free Pedal, built in 1696 by J. Duyschot for the Walloon Church in Delft. From 1870 to 1900 the organ was in the Gerf.Church on Nobelstraat in The Hague. Subsequently installed in Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht. In 1982 reconstructed according to the Duyschot condition. Two psalm boards in carved Louis XVI frame.
