Omschrijving
Admiraliteitsgebouw. Blokvormig gebouw met verdieping en omlopend schilddak waarop sierschoorstenen. Voorgevel in klassicistisch barokke trant met door een fronton met wapen gedekt middenrisaliet en vensters met kruiskozijnen. Dakkapellen met driehoekige bekroningen. Gebouwd midden 17e eeuw door Pieter Post. Gerestaureerd omstreeks 1965. Tot de inventaris behoren: een rijk gesneden driedelige portiek en acht schoorsteenmantels uit de bouwtijd met schoorsteenstukken of gesneden boezems met wapens of koppen.

Description
Admiralty Building. Block-shaped building with storey and surrounding hipped roof on which ornamental chimneys. Front facade in classicist baroque style with central risalit covered by a pediment with coat of arms and windows with cross windows. Roof dormers with triangular crownings. Built mid-17th century by Pieter Post. Restored circa 1965. The inventory includes: a richly carved three-part porch and eight fireplace mantels from the construction period with fireplace stones or carved bosses with coats of arms or heads.
