Herv. KERK EN TOREN op omheind kerkhof. Aanvankelijk eenbeukig 13e eeuws kerkgebouw, met gotische sluiting en begin 18e eeuw toegevoegde dwarspanden. Over de tweede travee van het schip meloenvormig koepelgewelf, overigens kruisribgewelven. In de kerk rijk met snijwerk versierde preekstoel met trap, achterschot, klankbord en lezenaar; bijpassend doophek; twee herenbanken met lofwerkbekroning op het achterschot en deuren. Alle banken met knoppen. Avondmaalstafel met marmeren blad. Op de preekstoel twee koperen zandloperhouders; op het doophek lezenaar met koperen kaarsenarmen. Groot orgel met rugpositief in kas met snijwerk versierd, in 1785 gemaakt door A.A. Hinsz; orgelbalustrade. Twee tochtportalen. Grafmonument voor Rudolf Huinga. Rouwbord van Rensema. Zestienlichts koperen kroon. Gebrandschilderd wapenruitje 1672. Toren met hoge open lantaren, naar 18e eeuwse vorm herbouwd in 1897. Klokkenstoel met klok van Petit & Fritsen, 1897, diam. 146 cm. Mechanisch torenuurwerk A. Veenhof, Groningen, 1897. Het oude mechanische torenuurwerk is nog aanwezig.

Description
Reformed CHURCH AND TOWER on enclosed churchyard. Originally single-aisle 13th century church building, with Gothic closing and early 18th century added transepts. Over the second bay of the nave a melon-shaped dome vault, otherwise cross-ribbed vaults. In the church a richly carved pulpit decorated with carving with stairs, backrest, sounding board and reading desk; matching baptismal gate; two gentlemen's benches with ornamental cresting on the backrest and doors. All benches with knobs. Communion table with marble top. On the pulpit two copper hour-glass holders; on the baptismal gate reading desk with copper candle arms. Large organ with ruckpositiv in carved case, made in 1785 by A.A. Hinsz; organ balustrade. Two draught portals. Monument for Rudolf Huinga. Mourning board of Rensema. Sixteen-light copper crown. Stained glass armorial pane 1672. Tower with tall open lantern, rebuilt in 1897 in 18th century form. Bell frame with bell by Petit & Fritsen, 1897, diam. 146 cm. Mechanical tower clock A. Veenhof, Groningen, 1897. The old mechanical tower clock is still present.
