Rechthoekig, in schoon metselwerk opgetrokken blok van vier rug-aan-rug WONINGEN onder met rode en blauwe muldenpannen gedekt schilddak met schoorstenen op de nokeinden en tegen het midden van de zijgevels; tegen de zijgevels voormalige stalletjes (thans keukens) onder met rode muldenpannen gedekt lessenaardak; gevels geleed door (hoek)lisenen en voorzien van gepleisterde plint, banken, blokken en lijst van verdiepte veldjes langs de bovenzijde van de gevels; getoogde vensters bij de nrs 2, 4 en 112 F ten dele, bij nr 112 G geheel met oorspronkelijke roedenverdeling; halfrond gesloten deur (bij nr 2 vrij recent houten portiek); later aangebrachte dakkapellen. De woningen, gelegen te midden van de afzonderlijke, door afscheiding omgrensde erven, zijn een deel van de in 1909 door de Oranje Nassau Mijnen gebouwde mijnwerkerskolonie "Grasbeek", die door aanleg, architectuur, gelijk kleur- en materiaalgebruik een eenheid vormt en die een der gaafste en voor Nederland vrij zeldzame voorbeelden is van de op de internationale, 19e eeuwse (XIX B) traditie gebaseerde arbeiderswoningbouw door industrielen.

Description
Rectangular block of four back-to-back dwellings constructed in fair-faced brickwork, covered with a hipped roof tiled with red and blue pantiles with chimneys at the ridge ends and against the middle of the side facades; against the side facades former small stables (now kitchens) covered with a lean-to roof tiled with red pantiles; facades articulated by (corner) pilasters and furnished with plastered plinth, benches, blocks and a band of recessed panels along the top of the facades; arched windows at nos. 2, 4 and 112 F in part, at no. 112 G entirely with original glazing bars; semicircular closed door (at no. 2 a fairly recent wooden portico); later-added roof dormer windows. The dwellings, situated in the midst of individual yards bounded by fencing, are part of the miners' colony "Grasbeek" built in 1909 by the Oranje Nassau Mijnen, which by its layout, architecture, and likewise colour and material use forms a unity and which is one of the finest and for the Netherlands fairly rare examples of workers' housing construction by industrialists based on 19th century international tradition.
