Schelmentoren; gelegen tussen de St. Pancratiuskerk en de Emmastraat. Opgetrokken uit breuksteen. Oorspronkelijk verdedigbare woontoren van de heren van Aare, XII; sinds 1244 deel van de stadsomwalling. Trapaanbouw grotendeels XVIII.

Description
Schelmentoren; located between the St. Pancratiuskerk and the Emmastraat. Built of rubble stone. Originally a defensible residential tower of the lords of Aare, 12th century; since 1244 part of the city fortifications. Stepped brick construction largely 18th century.
