Omschrijving
KASTEEL Assumburg, XVd of XVI, hersteld XVIIa, gewijzigd omstreeks 1700. Vier vleugels om een binnenplaats, twee vierkante hoektorens, XVd en een iets latere achtzijdige hoektoren. Aan de binnenplaats een laatgotische galerij, in de 18e eeuw opnieuw opgesteld. Het geheel omgeven door een gracht. Het voorplein wordt geflankeerd door een dienstgebouw met schilddak aan de linkerzijde XVIII, en de overblijfsels van een dienstgebouw rechts. Twee gemetselde boogbruggen. Smeedijzeren hek, XVIII.

Description
CASTLE Assumburg, 15th century or 16th century, restored first half of 17th century, modified around 1700. Four wings around a courtyard, two square corner towers, 15th century and a slightly later octagonal corner tower. On the courtyard a Late Gothic gallery, re-erected in the 18th century. The whole surrounded by a moat. The forecourt is flanked by a service building with hipped roof on the left side 18th century, and the remains of a service building on the right. Two brick arch bridges. Wrought iron gate, 18th century.
