Omschrijving
"Daendelshuis". PAND, bestaande uit twee evenwijdig lopende vleugels, waarvan de oostelijke gedateerd is 1618. Dit huis is gebouwd tegen de achterzijde van het laat-middel-eeuwse pand Kerkhofstraat 9, waarmede het in oorsprong een geheel uitmaakte. Het uit een parterre en twee verdiepingen bestaande oostelijke deel draagt een pannen zadeldak tussen een puntgevel aan de zuidzijde en een in- en uitgezwenkte topgevel met natuurstenen dekplaten en een toppilaster aan de noordzijde. De voorgevel is rijk behandeld in renaissance- vormen en bezit geprofileerde natuurstenen waterlijsten, natuurstenen kruiskozijnen en tweelichtvensters met luiken, geblokte ontlastingsbogen met siermetselwerk in de boogtrommels, sierankers en een jaartalsteen: anno 1618. In de zijgevel smalle vensters met natuurstenen middendorpels en geblokte ontlastingsbogen. Jaarankers 1618. Onder de top een geprofileerde , natuurstenen waterlijst. Het westelijke deel heeft aan de noordzijde een eenvoudige, vroeg 17e eeuwse puntgevel met een muizetandlijst onder de top. De in de 18e eeuw vergrote vensters hebben ontlastingsbogen en herkregen bij de recente restauratie een kleine roedenverdeling. Aan de zuidzijde van het Daendelshuis , aansluitend bij Kerkhofstraat 9, en langgerekte, gepleisterde vleugel van begane-grond met een zadeldak. Vensters met geprofileerde dorpels en bij de restauratie aangebrachte schuiframen met kleine roedenverdeling. De restauratie van het Daendelshuis, dat thans is ingericht tot Ned. Hervormd Jeugdcentrum, vond plaats omstreeks 1964.

Description
"Daendelshuis". BUILDING, consisting of two parallel wings, of which the eastern one is dated 1618. This house is built against the rear of the late medieval building Kerkhofstraat 9, with which it originally formed one whole. The eastern part, consisting of a ground floor and two storeys, carries a tiled gabled roof between a pointed gable on the south side and an inset and outswung top gable with natural stone coping stones and a top pilaster on the north side. The front facade is richly treated in Renaissance forms and possesses profiled natural stone drip mouldings, natural stone cross windows and two-light windows with shutters, blocked relieving arches with ornamental brickwork in the arch drums, ornamental wall anchors and a date stone: anno 1618. In the side facade narrow windows with natural stone mullions and blocked relieving arches. Year anchors 1618. Below the top a profiled, natural stone drip moulding. The western part has on the north side a simple, early 17th century pointed gable with a mouse-tooth moulding below the top. The windows, enlarged in the 18th century, have relieving arches and regained at the recent restoration a small glazing bar division. On the south side of the Daendelshuis, adjoining Kerkhofstraat 9, an elongated, rendered wing of ground floor with a gabled roof. Windows with profiled mullions and sash frames with small glazing bar division installed at the restoration. The restoration of the Daendelshuis, which is now fitted out as a Dutch Reformed Youth Centre, took place around 1964.
