Omschrijving
V.m. Hoofdwacht. Rechthoekig, bakstenen gebouw, gedateerd 1621 en in XIXc verbouwd, waarbij het grote bordes en de oude vensterindeling verloren gingen. Van de oorspronkelijke ornamentiek is bewaard gebleven de gebeeldhouwde bekroning van de dakkapel boven de middenas met voluten, siervazen, wapen vastgehouden door leeuwen en bekronende leeuw met wapenschild. Onder de top: anno 1621. Voorts geprofileerde waterlijsten, geblokte ontlastingsbogen, hoekblokken, banden en sierankers. Steen met opschrift en jaartal 1672.

Description
Formerly the Guardhouse. Rectangular brick building, dated 1621 and altered in the 19th century, whereby the large perron and the old window arrangement were lost. Of the original ornamental work preserved is the sculpted cornice of the roof dormer above the central axis with volutes, ornamental vases, coat of arms held by lions and crowning lion with shield. Below the top: anno 1621. Furthermore profiled drip mouldings, blocked relieving arches, corner blocks, bands and ornamental wall anchors. Stone with inscription and date 1672.
