Omschrijving
De binnenpoort der Dijkpoort. Bakstenen poortgebouw op vierkante plattegrond (omstreeks 1400?) met spitsbogige doorgang en uitgekraagde bovengeleding met arkeltorentjes, welke bij de restauratie in 1909 door Dr P.J.H. Cuypers is herbouwd. Aan de noord-westzijde van de poort een der verbindingsmuren met de thans verdwenen voorpoort, vrijgelegd en gerestaureerd in 1923.

Description
The inner gate of the Dijkpoort. Brick gate building on square ground plan (around 1400?) with pointed-arch passage and corbelled upper section with arched turrets, which was rebuilt during the restoration in 1909 by Dr P.J.H. Cuypers. On the north-west side of the gate one of the connecting walls with the now vanished outer gate, uncovered and restored in 1923.
