Uit 1921 daterende, vierkante vuurtoren (hoge licht) uit baksteen en beton opgetrokken naar ontwerp van C.Jelsma. De toren is 16.31 m. hoog, is bepleisterd en grijs en wit geschilderd en heeft 5 etages. De toren springt boven de begane grond iets in en de muurvlakken van de bovenste verdieping kragen tussen de rechte hoeken driezijdig uit. Rechtgesloten toegangsdeur en rechtgesloten, hoge en smalle vensters. Lichthuis met koperen koepel en windwijzer in de vorm van een zeemeermin.

Dating from 1921, square lighthouse (tall light) constructed of brick and concrete according to design by C. Jelsma. The tower is 16.31 m. high, is plastered and painted grey and white and has 5 storeys.
