Omschrijving
Toren Ned. Herv. Kerk. Merkwaardig bouwwerk, gedateerd 1821, waarvan de bakstenen romp van drie geledingen, gescheiden door natuurstenen lijsten en neo-classicistische ingangspartij heeft in baksteen gebosseerd en met jonische halve zuiltjes, die een fronton dragen. De uit een vierkante en een achtkante open houten geleding bestaande bovenbouw vertoont nog een barokke inslag, evenals de wijze, waarop het torenlichaam door middel van gebogen gevels, bekroond door borstweringen, verbonden is met de zijmuren van de kerk. Mechanisch torenuurwerk, E.J. Rochlitz. Boven de ingangsdeur bevindt zich een sterk west-afwijkende houten zonnewijzer, vóór 1821.

Description
Tower of the Dutch Reformed Church. Remarkable structure, dated 1821, of which the brick body of three stages, separated by natural stone bands and neo-classicist entrance section has rusticated brick and with Ionic half columns, which carry a pediment. The superstructure consisting of a square and an octagonal open wooden stage shows still a baroque influence, as does the manner in which the tower body is connected by means of curved gables, crowned by parapets, with the side walls of the church. Mechanical tower clock, E.J. Rochlitz. Above the entrance door is a strongly west-deviating wooden sundial, before 1821.
