Omschrijving
Grote of Onze Lieve Vrouwekerk. Monumentale, basilicale kruiskerk, 14e-16e eeuw, waarvan koor met kooromgang en dwarsschip en late Nederrijnse gotiek vertegenwoordigen. Traptorens tegen de kooromgang en aan de westzijde van de transeptarmen. Koor en dwarsschip overdekt door laag aanzettende netgewelven. Triforium zonder balustrade, fraaie kapiteelsculptuur. Het schip bestaat na de torenval van 1797 uit twee traveeën, afgesloten door een bakstenen westgevel met gezwenkte contouren en een classicistisch portaal. Inwendig tussen de pijlers van het koor gaaf bewaarde natuurstenen afscheidingen ten dele in hout vernieuwd, verlevendigd door spitsboognissen met driepastraceringen. Preekstoel door Jan de Wael, 1620; Grafzerken, 16e, 17e en 18e eeuw. Orgel met Hoofdwerk en Rugwerk, in 1827 gemaakt door de Gebr. Batz. In 1981 gerestaureerd door Flentrop Orgelbouw.

Description
Great or Our Lady's Church. Monumental, basilical cruciform church, 14th-16th century, of which the choir with choir ambulatory and transept represent late Lower Rhinish Gothic. Stair towers against the choir ambulatory and on the west side of the transept arms. Choir and transept covered by low-set net vaults. Triforium without balustrade, fine capital sculpture. After the tower collapse of 1797, the nave consists of two bays, closed by a brick west facade with curved contours and a classicist portal. Internally between the pillars of the choir well-preserved natural stone partitions partly renewed in wood, enlivened by pointed-arch recesses with three-moulded traceries. Pulpit by Jan de Wael, 1620; Gravestones, 16th, 17th and 18th centuries. Organ with Great Work and Back Work, made in 1827 by the Gebr. Batz. In 1981 restored by Flentrop Orgelbouw.
