De Ve(e)nebrugger schans te Hardenberg. Van de in 1795 aangelegde Venebruggerlinie, oorspronkelijk bestaande uit 2 fronten met 4 bastions en daarachter 3 redouten, is slechts 1 redoute overgebleven. De redoute is een vierkant plateau plm 2 meter boven het omringde land uitstekend, met geboomte en kreupelhout begroeid. De redoute is omgeven door een deels dichtgegroeide gracht.

The Ve(e)nebrugger redoubt at Hardenberg. Of the Venebruggerlinie laid out in 1795, originally consisting of 2 fronts with 4 bastions and behind them 3 redoubts, only 1 redoubt remains. The redoubt is a square plateau approximately 2 metres above the surrounding land, overgrown with trees and scrub. The redoubt is surrounded by a partly overgrown ditch.
