Amsterdamse of Spaarnewouderpoort, bakstenen gebouw met toepassingen van bergsteen voor banden, hoek- en negblokken, 2e helft 15e eeuw, lage voorpoort door twee ronde in achtzijden overgaande torentjes geflankeerd hoofdgebouw met twee achtzijdige torentjes door vleugels over het water van de lagere voorpoort verbonden. In het metselwerk de Bourgondische vuurslag - Oostenrijk en Haarlem, aan de stadszijde van het hoofdgebouw twee pinakelachtige versieringen.

Description
Amsterdam or Spaarnewouderpoort, brick building with applications of ashlar for bands, corner and quoin blocks, second half 15th century, low outer gatehouse flanked by two round towers transitioning to octagonal shapes, main building with two octagonal turrets connected by wings over the water of the lower outer gatehouse. In the brickwork the Burgundian flint-striking - Austria and Haarlem, on the city side of the main building two pinnacle-like ornaments.
