Omschrijving
N.H. KERK.
Vroeg 16e eeuws bakstenen kerkgebouw dat in 1624 bij de beschieting van Groningen aan de westzijde beschadigd werd en sindsdien ingekort was.
Bij de jongste restauratie weer met een travee westwaarts uitgebreid.
Rechtgesloten koor, waarvan de topgevel bij die gelegenheid herbouwd werd; boogfries op bakstenen kopjes.
Een 17e eeuwse en twee 18e eeuwse zerken.
Preekstoelkuip met snijwerk aan de hoeken. Sinds 1988 een tweeklaviersorgel van L. van Dam uit 1846, afkomstig van de Herv. Kerk te Pietersbierum.
In de dakruiter klok van anonieme gieter, 1451, diam. 100 cm.

Description
N.H. CHURCH.
Early 16th century brick church building that in 1624 during the bombardment of Groningen was damaged on the west side and had since been shortened.
At the most recent restoration it was extended again westwards by one bay.
Rectangular choir, of which the gable was rebuilt at that occasion; arch frieze on brick corbels.
One 17th century and two 18th century tombstones.
Pulpit bowl with carved work at the corners. Since 1988 a two-manual organ by L. van Dam from 1846, originating from the Protestant Church at Pietersbierum.
In the bell-cote a bell of anonymous founder, 1451, diam. 100 cm.
