The register's description
Omschrijving
Geertruids- of Pepergasthuis in 1405 gesticht. Groot gasthuis gebouwd om twee hoven. Middenvleugel met verdieping waarin regentenkamer onder zadeldak tegen later gepleisterde topgevel aan de Peperstraat. Overige vleugels zonder verdieping onder zadeldaken. Kapel terzijde van de eerste binnenplaats.
Hierin een tweeklaviers orgel van P. van Oeckelen uit 1862.
Gesloten buitengevels aan de zijde van het Kattediep met stenen kozijnen waarboven ontlastingsbogen met blokjes. Ingangspoortje aan de Peperstraat uit 1640 met gebeeldhouwde bekroning uit 1743.
Op het eerste hof een pomp uit 1829. Aan het slop "Achter de Muur" in de Poelestraat 17e eeuwse toegangspoort.

Geertruids or Pepergasthuis founded in 1405. Large almshouse built around two courtyards. Central wing with storey containing regents' room under gabled roof against later plastered gabled top on the Peperstraat. Other wings without storey under gabled roofs. Chapel to the side of the first courtyard.
Containing a two-manual organ by P. van Oeckelen from 1862.
Closed outer facades on the side of the Kattediep with stone frames above which relieving arches with blocks. Small entrance gate on the Peperstraat from 1640 with sculptured crest from 1743.
On the first courtyard a pump from 1829. At the alley "Achter de Muur" in the Poelestraat a 17th-century access gate.
