Omschrijving
Vrml.Ambtswoning, Commissaris der Koningin, thans Economisch instituut der Rijks Universiteit. Zeven traveeën breed onderkelderd herenhuis met twee verdiepingen onder schilddak met versierde hoekschoorstenen. De kelderverdieping is met hardsteen bekleed, versierd met festoenen en rozetten. De strakke bakstenen gevel wordt afgesloten door een forse kroonlijst waarop het bouwjaar 1791 vermeld wordt en waarboven een balustrade met balusters aan de zijden en een traliemotief in het midden.
De ingang is bereikbaar langs een halfronde stoep met hekken, die zich voor de gevel voortzet langs het middenvenster van de beide verdiepingen; boven de ingang en de vensters enig decoratief beeldhouwwerk. Twee kamers met betimmeringen, geschilderd behang en deuren uit de bouwtijd; op de trap een keeshondje, embleem der patriotten; in de achterzaal schoorsteenmantel XIXa.

Description
Formerly official residence, Commissioner of the Queen, now Economics institute of the State University. Seven bays wide basement townhouse with two storeys under hipped roof with decorated corner chimneys. The basement storey is clad with hardstone, decorated with festoons and rosettes. The austere brick facade is finished with a substantial cornice on which the year 1791 is noted and above which is a balustrade with balusters at the sides and a lattice motif in the centre.
The entrance is reached along a semicircular steps with gates, which extends in front of the facade along the centre window of both storeys; above the entrance and the windows some decorative sculpture. Two rooms with timber-lining, painted wallpaper and doors from the building period; on the staircase a Keeshond, emblem of the patriots; in the rear room a fireplace mantel from the first half of the 19th century.
