Omschrijving
Oudste WOONHUIS van Groningen. Gotisch pand onder diep zadeldak; voorgevel geleed door hoog opgaande geprofileerde nissen in de begane-grond; de dammen zijn als halve bundelpijlers behandeld, waarop boven de waterlijst half zeszijdige pilasters rusten ter hoogte van de gootlijst, beëindigd door kleine kapitelen.
De zijvelden vormen siernissen met driepasbogen. Vensters op de verdieping van de pui met roedenverdeling, hogerop allen gewijzigd in luiken.
Top later vervangen. Inwendig de oude balklagen; achtergevel eveneens met stenen kruiskozijnen.

Description
Oldest dwelling house of Groningen. Gothic building under deep gabled roof; front gable articulated by tall rising profiled recesses in the ground floor; the mullions are treated as half bundle pillars, on which above the drip moulding half-hexagonal pilasters rest at the height of the drip moulding, ended by small capitals.
The side fields form ornamental recesses with trefoil arches. Windows on the storey of the frontage with glazing bars, higher up all altered to shutters.
Top later replaced. Internally the old floor beams; rear gable similarly with stone cross windows.
