Der Aa-Kerk.
Evenals de Martinikerk uit een 13e eeuwse kruiskerk ontstane hallenkerk, in etappes in de tweede helft van de 15e eeuw ontstaan.
Aan de zuidzijde van het koor een sacristie met verdieping en lage aanbouw waarin de ingang met jaartallen 1653-1678-1787. Rijk gesneden preekstoel met trap, achterschot en klankbord plm 1700; doophek (thans opgeslagen in het koor); orgel met rugpositief, in 1702 door A. Schnitger gebouwd voor de Minderbroederskerk en in 1814 hierheen overgebracht; rijk gesneden orgelkas op zuilen en met portaal eronder, gedateerd 1702; schotwerk in de zijbeuken met dubbele deuren, 1663; in de hoofdbeuk hooggestoelte met onderbank, eind 17e eeuw met oudere onderdelen; in de zuidelijke zijbeuk twee hooggestoelten met onderbanken, 17e eeuw. Na de laatste kerkrestauratie is in de zuidelijke zijbeuk een orgelkas met frontpijpen uit 1540 geplaatst. Dit orgel, vermoedelijk gemaakt door R. Rodensteen, is afkomstig uit de Broederenkerk te Bolsward. Belangrijke ombouw door A. Verbeek in 1635. Van dit instrument zijn slechts het meubel, de frontpijpen en enkele onderdelen van de mechanieken bewaard gebleven. Aan de westzijde officierenbank 1754.
Op het koor o.m. grafzerk uit 1538 en in de wand ingemetselde herdenkingsplaat inzake brand en herstel van de toren 1674 en Schnitgerorgel uit 1697; rond het koor stenen omheining (15e eeuw) met latere houten portalen.

Like the Martinikerk, a hall church originating from a 13th century cruciform church, built in stages during the second half of the 15th century.
On the south side of the choir a sacristy with storey and low extension with an entrance bearing the dates 1653-1678-1787. Richly carved pulpit with stairs, back panel and sounding board circa 1700; baptismal gate (now stored in the choir); organ with positive, built in 1702 by A. Schnitger for the Minderbroederskerk and transferred here in 1814; richly carved organ case on columns with portal beneath, dated 1702; wainscoting in the side aisles with double doors, 1663; in the main nave high pews with lower bench, late 17th century with older components; in the southern side aisle two high pews with lower benches, 17th century. After the last church restoration an organ case with front pipes from 1540 has been placed in the southern side aisle. This organ, presumably made by R. Rodensteen, comes from the Broederenkerk at Bolsward. Important remodelling by A. Verbeek in 1635. Of this instrument only the case, the front pipes and some mechanical components have been preserved. On the west side officiant's bench 1754.
On the choir among others a gravestone from 1538 and in the wall a set-in commemorative plaque concerning fire and restoration of the tower 1674 and Schnitger organ from 1697; around the choir stone enclosure (15th century) with later wooden portals.
