Gebouw, bestaand uit een nieuw in stijl aangepast rechtergedeelte (410) en het oorspronkelijke dubbele huis 412, gebouwd in 1664 door Philips Vingboons, met zandstenen gevel met twee pilasterorden in de middenrisaliet, waarboven een fronton. Oorspronkelijke ingang in sokkelverdieping. Gebouw, bestaand uit een nieuw in stijl aangepast rechtergedeelte (410) en het oorspronkelijke dubbele huis 412, gebouwd in 1664 door Philips Vingboons, met zandstenen gevel met twee pilasterorden in de middenrisaliet, waarboven een fronton. Inleiding Speel- of tuinhuis daterend rond 1734, uitgevoerd in Lodewijk XIV-stijl, behorend bij het reeds onder monumentnummer 1840 beschermde grachtenhuis Herengracht 410-412 en gesitueerd in de bijbehorende tuin tegen de achterrooilijn, thans enigszins verdiept gelegen. In de tuin bevinden zich twee grote esdoorns, waarvan een omgeven wordt door een zeszijdige houten tuinbank.
Omschrijving In baksteen en bergsteen opgetrokken symmetrisch speelhuis op rechthoekige grondslag bestaande uit een bouwlaag onder een plat dak. De voorgevel van de drie traveeën brede middenpartij is in bergsteen uitgevoerd, de zijvleugels ter breedte van drie smallere traveeën in baksteen. De gevel wordt afgesloten door een kroonlijst, in de middenpartij ondersteund door twee voluutconsoles. De licht risalerende, bergstenen middenpartij is voorzien van geblokte pilasters en een gebeeldhouwde koepelachtige opbouw met een ingezwenkte met rolwerk en vazen versierde gevelbekroning. Boven de dubbele entreedeur in de middentravee, is een halfrond fronton geplaatst met in het boogveld een alliantiewapen met gekroonde wapenschilden gevat tussen symmetrische acanthusbladeren. Aan weerszijden van de entree 24-ruits schuifvens ters. De zijvleugels, vanuit de tuin toegankelijk door een enkele paneeldeur met een gedecoreerde omlijsting, zijn uitgevoerd in schoon metselwerk. Zijtraveeën met 12-ruits schuifvensters met natuurstenen onderdorpels, boven de vensters een rollaag. Onder de vensters gedecoreerde natuurstenen reliëfs. Inwendig onder meer in het middengedeelte een vlakke balkenzoldering met beschildering; tegen de linker zijwand een zeventiende-eeuwse met figuren en maskerkoppen gedecoreerde schouw, op de vloer ölandtegels .

Speel- of tuinhuis van architectuur- en cultuurhistorisch belang vanwege de bijzondere detaillering, de nog aanwezige historische functie en de ruimtelijk-functioneel historische relatie met bijbehorende tuin en grachtenhuis gelegen in de zogenaamde 'Gouden Bocht' van de Herengracht, een van de voornaamste grachten van Amsterdam.

Introduction Play- or garden house dating around 1734, executed in Louis XIV style, belonging to the canal house Herengracht 410-412 already protected under national monument number 1840 and situated in the associated garden against the rear building line, now somewhat sunken. In the garden are two large maple trees, one of which is surrounded by a six-sided wooden garden bench.
Description Constructed in brick and ashlar, symmetrical play-house on rectangular ground plan consisting of one storey under a flat roof. The front facade of the three-bay wide central section is executed in ashlar, the side wings for the width of three narrower bays in brick. The facade is closed off by a cornice, in the central section supported by two scroll consoles. The slightly projecting, ashlar central section is furnished with rusticated pilasters and a sculptured dome-like construction with an indented cornice adorned with scroll-work and vases. Above the double entrance door in the central bay, a semi-circular pediment is placed with in the spandrel an alliance coat of arms with crowned escutcheons set between symmetrical acanthus leaves. On either side of the entrance 24-pane sash windows. The side wings, accessible from the garden through a single panel door with decorated frame, are executed in fair-faced brickwork. Side bays with 12-pane sash windows with natural stone sub-sills, above the windows a roll course. Below the windows decorated natural stone reliefs. Internally among others in the central section a flat beam ceiling with painting; against the left side wall a seventeenth-century chimney decorated with figures and mask heads, on the floor Öland tiles.
