Omschrijving
KAPEL van de R.K.begraafplaats aan de Kerkhoflaan, met bijgebouwen. Neoclassicistisch, enigszins Doristisch gebouw op kruisvormige plattegrond, de middenruimte door een achthoekige, rijzige koepel. In de tamboer zijn aan vier zijden half-cirkelvormige vensters aangebracht. Bouwtijd: ca. 1840. Aan de Kerkhoflaan twee ronde hekpijlers met ijzeren toegangspark. Aan weerszijden daarvan twee dienstgebouwtjes van begane-grond met schilddak. Vensters met hoofdgestellen en zesruitsramen. De zuidzijde van het kerkhof wordt afgesloten door een langgerekte galerij in neo-romaans-Byzantijnse trant. Rond de begraafplaats een ijzeren hek met bakstenen hekpijlers. Tussen de twee dienstgebouwtjes een toegangshek met hardstenen pijlers. De begraafplaats wordt aan de zuidzijde afgesloten door een langgerekte galerij in neo-romaanse trant met aan de Byzantijnse architectuur ontleende invloeden, gebouwd in 1884 door W.B. van Liefland. De galerij, door rondbogen op zuilen met teerlingkapitelen naar de zijde van de begraafplaats geopend, heeft aan de uiteinden kleine koepeltorens en in het midden een grote achthoekige koepel, versierd door driepasnissen op kolonnetten.
