Omschrijving
Bakstenen TOREN der v.m. St.Barbarakapel (afgebroken in 1581). Het torenlichaam, dat geen steunberen heeft, bezit op de hoeken natuurstenen blokken en in de spitsboognissen bakstenen traceringen. Vierzijdige spits met wijzerplaten, open peerbekroning en gesmeed torenkruis. De toren (XVIa) is hersteld in 1635. Mechanisch smeedijzeren torenuurwerk, 17de eeuw, is buiten gebruik gesteld.

Description
Brick TOWER of the formerly St. Barbara Chapel (demolished in 1581). The tower body, which has no buttresses, has natural stone blocks at the corners and brick traceries in the pointed arch niches. Four-sided spire with clock faces, open pear finial and wrought iron weathercock. The tower (first half of 16th century) was restored in 1635. Mechanical wrought iron tower clock, 17th century, has been put out of service.
