Omschrijving
V.M.ST.JOOSTKAPEL (sinds 1681 Lutherse Kerk). ZAALKERK met driezijdige koorsluiting op de hoek van het Groenendaal. In 1838 in neo-gotische trant verbouwd; gereconstrueerd ca. 1957.
Boven de westelijke gevel uitgekraagd torentje, aangebracht bij de restauratie. Houten tongewelf.
Inventaris: kansel met rijk Lod.XIV-snijwerk op het klankbord; twee koperen lezenaars; gesneden gezangborden (Lod.XIV); kroon; doophekken. Klokkenstoel met klok van A. van den Ghein, 1788, diam. 36,7 cm. Orgel met twee manualen en pedaal, gebouwd door Maarschalkerweerd & Zn. in 1899. Later gewijzigd door Slooff.

Description
FORMER ST JOST CHAPEL (Lutheran Church since 1681). HALL CHURCH with three-sided choir closure on the corner of the Groenendaal. Rebuilt in neo-Gothic style in 1838; reconstructed ca. 1957.
Above the western facade a projecting turret, added during the restoration. Wooden barrel vault.
Inventory: pulpit with rich Louis XIV carved work on the sounding board; two brass lecterns; carved hymn boards (Louis XIV); crown; baptism gates. Bell frame with bell by A. van den Ghein, 1788, diam. 36.7 cm. Organ with two manuals and pedal, built by Maarschalkerweerd & Zn. in 1899. Later modified by Slooff.
