Omschrijving
v.m.Parochiekerk van O.L.Vrouw ten Hemelopneming. Driebeukige neogotische KRUISBASILIEK met door zijkapellen geflankeerd veelhoekig gesloten koor en eveneens veelhoekig gesloten transeptarmen.
Hoge zeshoekige kruisingstoren van hout en achthoekige traptorens met spitsen op de hoeken van de rijk gedetailleerde en van drie portalen met frontalen voorziene voorgevel.
Schip en zijbeuken hebben venstertripletten in vroeg-gotische trant. Het schip heeft ronde pijlers met kolonnetten en bladkapitelen. De kerk wordt overkluisd door stenen kruisribgewelven. De kerk is gebouwd in 1902-1904 naar ontwerp van C.P.W.Dessing.

formerly Church of Our Lady of the Assumption. Three-aisle neo-gothic CRUCIFORM BASILICA with a polygonally closed choir flanked by side chapels and likewise polygonally closed transept arms.
Tall hexagonal crossing tower of wood and octagonal stair towers with spires on the corners of the richly detailed front facade furnished with three portals with frontals.
Nave and side aisles have window triplets in early-gothic style. The nave has round pillars with colonnettes and foliate capitals. The church is covered by stone cross-ribbed vaults. The church was built in 1902-1904 according to a design by C.P.W.Dessing.
