Omschrijving
De T-boerderij met vijfpalige roedeberg uit ca 1800 ligt op de hoek van de Dorpsstraat en de provinciale weg aan de entree van het dorp Meteren en ligt met de zijgevel naar de Dorpsstraat. De boerderij ligt op een opgeworpen zandheuvel en is opgetrokken in baksteen met een gepleisterde plint. Het woongedeelte heeft een rieten schilddak, een voorgevel waarin een dubbele deur met bovenlicht en aan weerszijden de oorspronkelijke 12 ruits en 9 ruits schuifvensters met luiken en hardstenen onderdorpels. Ter plaatse van de overgang van 12 ruits naar 9 ruits vensters bevindt zich een oude bouwnaad. Lage verdieping waarin kleine vensters met roedeverdeling en gedeeltelijk luiken. Het gebouw is links onderkelderd en de linker zijgevel is in baksteen uitgevoerd met schuifvensters. De rechter zijgevel is gepleisterd en heeft eveneens schuifvensters. De structuur van het pand is goed bewaard gebleven met oorspronkelijke deuren, trap en indeling. Ook de kap van het woongedeelte is gaaf bewaard. Het stalgedeelte is met riet gedekt en heeft aan de achterzijde een groot overstek voor wagens. Van binnen is de deel geheel gewijzigd in verblijfsruimte. De gebintconstructie is bewaard gebleven. In het zuidelijke dakvlak van de deel bevindt zich een dakkapel, met riet gedekt. De vensters in de zuidgevel zijn in kunststof uitgevoerd. Aan de noordgevel van de deel bevindt zich een aanbouw uit ca 1900, in baksteen opgetrokken met afwijkend venstertype. Schuin achter de deel bevindt zich een 5-palige roedeberg onder rieten kap waarvan de basis in baksteen is opgetrokken waarop gepotdekselde wanden. Centraal in de roedeberg een gemetseld basement waarop de constructie van de zoldervloer rust. Balklaag en palen van de roedeberg zijn in goede staat bewaard gebleven.
De boerderij met roedeberg is van algemeen belang vanwege de architectuur-historische waarde (voorbeeld van een T-boerderij, redelijk gaaf bewaard met name het woonhuis in in- en exterieur, bijzondere 5-palige roedeberg), vanwege stedenbouwkundige waarden (beeldbepalend element).

Description
The T-shaped farmhouse with five-post open-sided roof structure from circa 1800 is located on the corner of the Dorpsstraat and the provincial road at the entrance of the village of Meteren and is positioned with its side facade facing the Dorpsstraat. The farmhouse is built on an artificial sand mound and is constructed in brick with a plastered plinth. The residential section has a thatched hipped roof, a front facade with a double door with fanlight and on either side the original 12-pane and 9-pane sash windows with shutters and sandstone sills. At the point where the transition from 12-pane to 9-pane windows occurs, there is an old building joint. Lower storey with small windows with glazing bars and partially shutters. The building is partially cellared on the left and the left side facade is executed in brick with sash windows. The right side facade is plastered and also has sash windows. The structure of the property is well preserved with original doors, staircase and layout. The roof truss structure of the residential section is also well preserved. The barn section is thatched and has a large overhang for wagons on the rear. Inside, the barn space has been completely converted into living accommodation. The timber framing structure has been preserved. In the southern roof plane of the barn there is a roof dormer, thatched. The windows in the south facade are executed in plastic. On the north facade of the barn there is an extension from circa 1900, constructed in brick with a different window type. Diagonally behind the barn there is a 5-post open-sided roof structure under a thatched roof, the base of which is constructed in brick with walls topped with pantiles. Centrally in the open-sided roof structure a brick basement on which the construction of the floor structure rests. The beam layer and posts of the open-sided roof structure are well preserved.
The farmhouse with open-sided roof structure is of general importance due to its architectural-historical value (example of a T-shaped farmhouse, reasonably well preserved particularly the farmhouse in interior and exterior, distinctive 5-post open-sided roof structure), due to its urban planning values (image-determining element).
