Omschrijving
Hoeve "Groot-Westerhout". Gaaf bewaard voorbeeld van het Betuwse T-huistype, blijkens jaartalankers in de huidige vorm uit 1771, maar in oorsprong ouder.
Fraai gelegen aan de Linge.
Het woongedeelte draagt een met riet gedekt wolfdak, waarin dakkapellen uit XIX A.
Links de onderkelderde opkamer, waarvan het metselwerk laatmiddeleeuwse moppen vertoont.
Deur met knop in omlijsting van pilasters met hoofdgestel, vroeg 19e eeuws.
Vensters met luiken en 25-ruitsschuiframen. In de linkerzijgevel boven halve kruiskozijnen.

Description
Farmstead "Groot-Westerhout". Well-preserved example of the Betuwe T-house type, as evidenced by date anchors in its present form from 1771, but older in origin.
Beautifully situated on the Linge.
The dwelling section bears a roof truss structure thatched with reed, with roof dormers from XIX A.
On the left the under-cellared upper room, whose brickwork shows late medieval headers.
Door with knob in surround of pilasters with entablature, early 19th century.
Windows with shutters and 25-pane sash windows. In the left side gable above half cross windows.
