Omschrijving
Hotel "De Gouden Leeuw". Belangrijk gotisch huis, herbouwd na stadsbrand van 1482, voorste deel vernieuwd ca. 1545, met moerbalken op houten muurstijlen en gotische sleutelstukken.
Zeer hoge kap; voorgevel gepleisterd en gewijzigd XVIII met in de vensters roedenverdeling in de stijl van die tijd. Gerestaureerd na brandschade 1961-'62.
In de bovenvoorkamer schouw met gotische wangen, afkomstig uit Brussel. Aan de achterzijde puntgevel met vlechtingen.
In de voorgevel zonnewijzer. Stoep en gesneden deurkalf. Volgens de overlevering woonhuis van Adriaan Florisz. (Paus Adriaan VI).

Description
Hotel "De Gouden Leeuw". Important Gothic house, rebuilt after the city fire of 1482, front part renewed circa 1545, with brace ties on wooden wall studs and Gothic key stones.
Very high roof truss structure; front facade plastered and altered 18th century with in the windows glazing bars in the style of that time. Restored after fire damage 1961-'62.
In the upper front room fireplace with Gothic cheeks, originating from Brussels. On the rear side pointed gable with herringbone brickwork.
In the front facade sundial. Step and carved door lintel. According to tradition the residence of Adriaan Florisz. (Pope Adrian VI).
