Omschrijving
Poorttoren van het voormalige Huis Poelwijk. Bakstenen bouwwerk, 15e eeuw, op vierkante plattegrond met aan de bovenzijde een uitkraging op spitsboognissen met kraagstenen. Na oorlogsschade gerestaureerd in 1960.
De doorgangen zijn dichtgezet, waarna de benedenverdieping een gewelf kreeg.
Kamer op de eerste verdieping met 18e eeuwse schilderingen; daarboven een vertrek met een gotische schouw.

Description
Gate tower of the former Huis Poelwijk. Brick structure, 15th century, on square plan with at the top a projection on pointed arch recesses with corbels. After war damage restored in 1960.
The passages are blocked, after which the ground floor received a vault.
Room on the first floor with 18th century wall paintings; above it a room with a Gothic fireplace.
