Omschrijving
De Hoofdwacht, thans poortgebouw van de kazerne. Gebouwd in 1791. Eenvoudig rechthoekig bakstenen gebouw met een ingebouwde galerij gelijkvloers: zes bakstenen pijlers onder vijf korfbogen, waarvan de middelste, als inrijpoort, breder is dan de andere. Hardstenen plinten, imposten en sluitstenen; hardstenen kanonvormige schamppalen te weerszijden van de inrijpoort.

Description
The Hoofdwacht, now a gatehouse of the barracks. Built in 1791. A simple rectangular brick building with an integrated gallery at ground level: six brick piers under five basket arches, of which the middle one, as a carriage entrance, is wider than the others. Hard stone plinths, imposts and keystones; hard stone cannon-shaped chamfered bollards on either side of the carriage entrance.
