Omschrijving
Cammingha- of Sjaerdemahuis.
Uit gedeeltelijk opnieuw gebruikte rode en gele baksteen opgetrokken complex, bestaande uit twee ten opzichte van elkaar verspringende delen, die elk worden gedekt door een leien schilddak.
Het westelijk deel in oorsprong midden XV, houtskelet en kap eind XV; het oostelijk deel in aanleg begin XVI.
De zware oostgevel, waarin 5 gietsleuvel werden aangetroffen, is een overblijfsel van een 15e eeuwse stins.
Het huidige gebouw is in hoofdzaken een reconstructie (1969-1972), waarbij de vensters voor het merendeel hun oude vorm terugkregen en de westgevel opnieuw werd ontworpen.

Description
Cammingha or Sjaerdema house.
Complex erected from partly re-used red and yellow brickwork, consisting of two parts offset in relation to each other, each covered by a slate hipped roof.
The western part originally mid-15th century, timber frame and roof truss end of 15th century; the eastern part originally early 16th century.
The heavy east facade, in which 5 stone gutters were found, is a remnant of a 15th-century fortified house.
The present building is substantially a reconstruction (1969-1972), in which the windows for the most part regained their old form and the west facade was redesigned.
